Oct 13, 2022: Rachel is on the scientific planning committee for the upcoming International Society of Atopic Dermatitis Symposium upcoming in Montreal this October. She will be presenting, and moderating sessions on the Canadian experience, and building global atopic dermatitis awareness sessions alongside representatives from the World Health Organization. Oct 13, 2022: Rachel has been nominated by her peers for inclusion in the 2022 Honour Roll of Canadian Women in Dermatology. This is intended to acknowledge the leadership of a select group of female physicians and will be featured in a print publication entitled Women in Dermatology.

Rachel has graduated with her Masters of Science in Health Sciences in Clinical and Translational Research with a GPA of 4.0 in Washington, DC on May 14 and has been inducted into the National Alpha Eta Honor Society. She looks forward to developing her career as a clinician-researcher.
Dr. Asiniwasis is the receipient of the Canadian Dermatology Association Early Career Volunteer award for 2022 and will be attending the reception this year in Quebec City.

Rachel is forever grateful for the experiences and career development opportunities she had working for the Eczema Society of Canada on the Board of Directors, as a Medical Contributor and Chair of the Eczema Research Grant Program from 2015 to 2021. We would like to thank both ESC and Amanda as the Executive Director for all their hard work and dedication put into bettering the lives of those suffering from eczema and wish ESC continued success! Looking forward to working together in the future.

Dr. Asiniwasis has been accepted to the Clinician Research Support Program (CRSP) as part of the 2021 CRSP Grant. The CRSP is an exciting partnership between the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and College of Medicine Regina Campus that aims to assist new, Regina-based clinician researchers in achieving early successes.
